Review: Benefit PosieTint

This review should come as no surprise if you saw my post about the Finding Mr. Bright kit

Benefit Posie tint (mini size)

Benefit's Posie Tint  is a poppy pink liquid lip and cheek stain. It is great for a natural looking pink flush and it also gives a subtle glow to the face.

To apply sweep the applicator brush across the apples of your cheeks and blend immediately.   This sets almost as soon as you apply it, so do one cheek at a time! It is sheer, but buildable. Apply until you get the desired intensity.
To apply as a lip stain, brush onto lips and blend. Adding more layers to achieve desired effect. I find this to be drying on my lips, and don't care to use it as a lip stain.

Posie Tint is one of my favorite blushes for spring. It feels lighter than a cream blush and gives a sheen to the face that a powder blush can't. It's very long wearing (8+ hours!) on my normal skin. Since it stains your cheeks, I would imagine it would hold up well on oily skins too.

One con that this blush has is the application. It can be tricky to apply because you have to blend it out so quickly. If you don't blend fast enough, you end up with pink dots or streaks stained to your cheeks. And once this sets, it's set! If you make a boo boo, it's near impossible to fix without removing it and starting over.

Shown above is a mini size that I recieved as part of the Finding Mr. Bright kit. The full size is $29 and is available at Sephora, Ulta, Benefit's website, and where ever else Benefit cosmetics are sold. I really really like this, but I doubt that I will purchase the full size because of the price. I would, however, buy another kit that contained it!

Do you have this blush? What do you think about it?

No, but the color looks wonderful! I often try to use stains for both my lips and cheeks, but it isn't always effective... this looks promising! =D
