An Embarrassingly Large Collective Haul

Hello there! No, I didn't fall off of the face of the Earth. I just haven't been all that motivated to blog. I have a feeling that my posts will be rather sporadic until after the holidays. Don't fret, I'll be full force for 2012!

Today, as the title suggests, I'm sharing my recent haulings...."They see me hauling, they be hatin'..."  For whatever reason this is in my head as I write this :)

First up is an ELF haul....

From L to R
Make Up clutch palette- contains 32 eye shadows, 1 bronzer, 2 blushes, 1 face highlighter, 6 lip colors, a brow powder and wax. - The shadows are very nice in this palette! They are all shimmery or satin finishes. I don't really see any true matte shades.  The blush and bronzer are ok, nothing to write home about, but they aren't the worst. The face highlighter feels very greasy and doesn't really do much but make you look greasy! The lip glosses and brow powder and wax are pretty nice too. Personally I don't care for the packaging. It is a hard plastic clutch. It would be great for travel, but for my personal use it isn't really practical. Bottom line- The products are ok, but I don't care for this packaging. I should have just gotten the 32 piece eyeshadow palette.
A few random eyeshadow swatches.
Disposable mascara wands-  I got these to separate my lashes after applying mascara. They work much better than my lash comb. I will be keeping these on hand from now on!

High Definition Powder- Review coming soon!
Make up mist and set
Studio face kabuki brush- I love all of the studio brushes and this one is no exception. This is a synthetic brush and is very soft. It shed a few hairs the first few times I used it, but doesn't seem to be shedding now.

Next, some recent Big Lots finds...

From L to R
ELF concealer brush, Zit zapper, correcting concealer- These came together in a kit. Love the brush and zit zapper. The zit zapper is a roller ball of a mixture of salicylic acid and tea tree oil. You roll it on your blemishes and this reduces redness and swelling. It seems to be lightening a dark spot that I have too...The concealer is no good. Watery and doesn't cover anything.
ELF cream eyeliner palette- These shades are ok as eyeshadow bases, but none are dark enough to be eyeliners in my opinion.
ELF all over cover stick in-Spotlight- This is a creamy pearl highlighter. I've been using in to highlight my cheekbones. It's ok but I find it a little difficult to blend and it feels funny, almost heavy, on my skin. For $1 it isn't bad, but I wouldn't buy this again.
Revlon color burst lipstick in Blush- Found this for $2.99! Score!

Last are some goodies I won as an honorable mention in a contest. To see my entry go Here

I got....
Stila positve and pretty palette-  Contains four eyeshadows and two blushes
Profusion brightening eyes
Wet N Wild trio in- We're blasting off
Rimmel lasting finish lipstick in- Dizzy and Pink blush
Rimmel moisture renew lipstick in- Pink chic
I also go a $20 Sephora card! Woot woot!

Nice little prize package you won! That is awesome! I really like the color of that Revlon lipstick, I can't wait to see it on you! :) It's nice to have you back, I've missed your posts! :)

P.S- Don't scold me - but I have yet to use any of the shadows from my ELF 100 shadows palette. I probably should get on that!
