It won't officially be spring for another week, but I couldn't wait to make this post. I've got spring fever!
There are some really great trends for this spring. So many, in fact, that I had a hard time narrowing down my list of favorites! I will do separate posts on a few trends over the next month or so.
My Spring/Summer picks for today are:
Pastels and Florals- Not exactly unexpected for spring, but pretty none the less. Floral jeans, however, are!

Floral jeans $80, Topshop |
Groundbreaking!
Metallic's- Blend a light silver cream shadow across your eyelid, and blend towards your brow, for simple eyes that shine. Or try a cool metallic accessory!

Silver wristlet $9.99, Target |
Brights- Probably my favorite trend! Neon brights are everywhere. From clothes, to shoes, to nails. Neon pink pants a little too much for you? Try a bright manicure or pedicure instead!
Bold lips- There were lots of colorful lips on the runways. Red, orange, pink, even purple! My favorite is an orange lip.
Cat eyes- Seems like this has been a trend for a while now....I'm not complaining though!
Colorful hair- There were all kinds of hair colors on the catwalks! I may rock a few colorful streaks in my hair this summer. If you don't want to commit to a wild streak, try a clip in extension, a color that washes out, or hair chalking.
Navy Blue eyes- Smoky eyes, to be exact. I like navy blue on my eyes. It's a little less harsh than black, but makes more of an impact than brown. If you find a smoky eye to be a little much, try a navy eyeliner.
Which is your favorite trend for the upcoming season?
I so need a pair of floral jeans. And by need, I mean want. Loving both the pastel and neon polish!
ReplyDeleteYes! At first I turned my nose up at the floral jeans, but I'm coming around to them now!
ReplyDeletei want that little wristlett, how cute is it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually afraid of every single thing that you mentioned, but I'm going to attempt to be a little more adventurous this summer. Maybe I'll even wear a shirt with a pattern!
